The Valley Family Forum and The Family Foundation invite you
to the 6th Annual Shenandoah Valley Salute to the Family: A
Celebration of Faith, Thursday, April 3, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. at
James Madison University's Festival Conference and Student
Center in Harrisonburg, VA. Tables are filling up fast, so
spread the word, invite your friends, and get your
reservations in as soon as possible.
The keynote speaker will be Dr. Rick Scarborough, CEO and
founder of Vision America, a nationally known pastor,
motivational speaker, champion of family values, and author of
several books including, Enough is Enough: A Call to Christian
Involvement. Signed copies of his books will be available
after the program, in addition to table gifts and special
drawings.
This year's theme, "A Celebration of Faith" was chosen to
honor Valley pastors and to encourage spiritual revival and
moral renewal in the Valley. To that end, please note that all
Valley pastors and their wives are invited to attend as guests
of the Valley Family Forum!
Rev. John Sloop will serve as Master of Ceremonies, "The
Faithful Men" and pianist Miriam Clark will provide an
inspiring medley of musical selections. There will also be a
Family Foundation update on the recent General Assembly
session.
Especially for Pastors: Pastors are also invited to a
pre-dinner Roundtable in the same building from 5:00 to 6:30
p.m. for a discussion of how the church can more effectively
connect with culture and public policy. The program will
include comments by several Valley pastors, leaders of
Virginia's "Pastors for Family Values", and Dr. Scarborough.
All pastors will receive a complementary copy of Amazing Grace
(book or DVD).

Tickets are $25 per person. Please consider hosting a table of
your own; each table seats eight people. (Remember: There is
no cost for pastors and their spouses.) You can reserve your

payable to the Valley Family Forum and can be sent to the
